About this Event
2025 has been another significant year in the life of the Royal Family: the spring and summer saw the King lead the country in commemorations to mark the 80th anniversary since the end of the Second World War.
The Princess of Wales has returned to regular royal engagements since ending her cancer treatment, the hard-working and ever popular Princess Royal celebrated her 75th birthday in August, September saw us say goodbye to a popular royal figure, the Duchess of Kent, while the Duke of Kent celebrated his 90th birthday in October. The autumn also saw royal titles removed from the former Prince Andrew.
Throughout the year, we have also seen a regular stream of engagements from unsung members of the Royal Family including the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Join royal commentator, James Taylor, offers his expert comment and analysis after attending many of these events – as well as some amusing snippets that have happened along the way.
