Please join us in a special evening at Dumbarton Oaks for the 2024 WxLA Annual Gathering and Celebration of WxLA Scholars. In acknowledgement of the 125th anniversary of ASLA, Dumbarton Oaks has invited us to celebrate WxLA in Beatrix Farrand’s well-known landscape architectural master work. Farrand was the only female of the eleven founding members of ASLA. Her leadership can be viewed as sowing the seeds for WxLA’s mission to encourage and lead efforts toward equality in our profession.
The evening will include light food and drinks, garden access, a presentation on Farrand’s role in the creation of ASLA, and a celebration of our 2024 WxLA scholars. As this is a special location with limited capacity, tickets will be limited to 250 participants.
