Mission: To promote STEM-competent leaders of character who make better choices in an increasingly complex world.

Parking Management: TBP January 2024

Attire: Modest Business Casual /Duty Uniform; Military: ASU or duty uniform as appropriate. Vigorous activities - recommend comfortable, durable, closed-toe shoes.

Photographs/Videographer: Recommend to stay picture ready; event will be photographed and or filmed. This is a school event. We assume opt-out photo policy in effect. WORKSHOP DETAILS:

  • Firewall/Eventbrite Ban: Recommend Students/Virginia employees - use personal email to register

  • The WPLEADS workshop will engage select high school students in the importance of ethical decision making as leaders , why STEM and ethics should be trained simultaneously, and how STEM diversity now will impat the nation's 2030 STEM Leadership.

  • Several distinguished participants will lend their expertise and inspiration for educators and key influencers to become more aware of opportunities and advantages in the Department of Defense.
