Cost: $150 per person. Summit is limited to 100 participants. Lunch and a special printed UPF30+ Summit jersey are included with your payment .

Waiver: Print & complete the HCRA Waiver and bring it with you. As we are using Hui Nalu canoes for our summit, enter "Hui Nalu" in the club field on the form.

<h4>About the Summit Jerseys:</h4>

Jerseys are ultra breathable PrimoLite mesh long sleeve hoodies by Anetik. These are Men's sizes, so please select accordingly. Size chart provided. Provide your jersey size while signing up and on your Venmo payment (see example). If paying by check - text your jersey size to #808-741-6379 with your name. Mahalo!

The International Hawaiian Canoe Association is proud to annouce the Wahine Wa'a Summit fundraiser event taking place at Maunalua Bay Beach Park on Sunday, August 4th, 2024.

This summit is an opportunity to learn from an unparalleled set of champions. Featuring ten of Hawaii's top female paddlers, you'll gain intimate insight into what it takes to paddle at the highest levels and how you can take those same practices to elevate your skills.

Each of these wahine brings a storied athletic career spanning decades of experience and hard-won knowledge. You'll rotate through four one hour sessions led by these amazing athletes!


<h4>Wahine Wa'a Summit breakout sessions</h4>

Paddling Technique (OC1, OC6)**: Lauren Spalding, Kristin Foster, Lori Nakamura, Anella Borges

Nutrition: Dr. Monica Esquivel, Alana Goo-Frazier

Weight Training: Beata Markin, Coral Mariano

Periodization, Mindset: Kelly Fey, Denise Darval-Chang

** If you are bringing your OC1, please come early to set up & rig your OC1 before checking in! If not we will for you in an OC6 canoe.

Whether you're a seasoned paddler or just starting out, this summit is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the spirit of sisterhood and aloha! We are capping this event to 100 participants to ensure everyone gains full value of the knowledge being shared. IMPORTANT: Be sure to read through the agenda and event details.
