Join us in welcoming Santa to the City of Kyle on Sunday, Dec. 1 from 4-9 PM at Mary Kyle Hartson City Square Park, 101 S. Burleson St. Bring your family and friends for the official kick-off to the Holidays in Kyle. Since 1999, the city has invited Santa to Mary Kyle Hartson City Square Park to be a part of the downtown tree-lighting event, and he's been at every one since! Come enjoy holiday music performed by local school choirs and bands, photos with Santa, free kids activities, and get a head start on Christmas shopping with our festive food and holiday market vendors.

- 4:30 p.m. - Blanco Elementary School
- 4:45 p.m. - Negley Elementary School
- 5 p.m. - Kyle Elementary School
- 5:15 p.m. - Hays CISD Honor Choir
- 5:35 p.m. - City of Kyle Baton Twirlers
- 5:45 p.m. - Tree Lighting Ceremony (approximately)
- 6:15 p.m. - Wallace Middle School
- 6:30 p.m. - Chapa Middle School
- 6:45 p.m. - Barton Middle School
- 7 p.m. - Simon Middle School
- 7:15 p.m. - Doral Academy of Texas
- 7:30 p.m. - Dahlstrom Middle School
- 7:45 p.m. - Mystic Dance Crew
- 8 p.m. - Johnson High School
- 8:15 p.m. - Lehman High School
Pictures with Santa:
Santa will be available for FREE pictures. Pictures must be taken with your own personal camera or device. A professional photographer will not be present. The doors will open at 4:00 p.m. and the line will be cut off at a certain point at 8 p.m. but other Santa photo opportunities will be available in December.
Street Closures and Parking:
Starting at 8 a.m. and going until 10 p.m. on Dec. 1 the following streets will be closed for the event:
- Burleson Street from Center Street to Miller Street
- Miller Street from Burleson Street to Main Street
- Main Street from Center Street to Miller Street
Parking for the event will be available on adjacent streets downtown.
