About this Event
ACE, Counseling and Career Development, Work-based Learning, Division of Youth Services, Justice Involved Personnel and Department of Corrections professionals are coming together for the 2nd Annual PWR Conference! Our goals align in so many ways, so we knew that this was a perfect opportunity to offer a more expansive lens to working with students, inclusive of Special Populations, to support their Postsecondary Workforce Readiness success in Colorado.
This exciting event will take place on Thursday and Friday, November 14-15, 2024 in Glenwood Springs, CO! Get ready to connect with fellow professionals to gain valuable insights, feel professionally refreshed and renewed and have a blast!
As an added bonus, you may register for Wednesday, November 13 to attend a preconference workshop. We are offering both a LIVE, IN-PERSON Workbased Learning Certification workshop to earn your CTE WBL Credential AND the CTE in Colorado course specifically tailored to support School Counselors in obtaining the CTE Specialist Endorsement (other content areas who need this course for licensure are also welcome). They occur simultaneously, so you may only register for one. There will be a $44 fee to cover attendance to either preconference workshop.
At the conference, you'll have the opportunity to attend a wide range of engaging workshops and sessions led by experienced teachers and education experts. Discover innovative teaching strategies, explore new technologies, and exchange ideas with like-minded professionals.
Our event promises a fun-filled day packed with interactive activities, networking opportunities, and an inspiring keynote speaker. Whether you're a seasoned educator or just starting your career, this conference is designed to empower you and enhance your teaching skills.
