Welcome to the 2024 Minority Mental Health & Wellness Resource Fair - Volunteer Registration! Join us on Saturday July 27, 2024 starting at 08:00 am at The African American Community Service Agency to make a difference in our community. We are looking for passionate individuals to help support minority mental health initiatives. Come volunteer and be a part of this important event. Sign up now to secure your spot!
Volunteer meals, supplies:
Volunteers will receive meal vouchers for a light breakfast, lunch, Nirvana Soul Coffee, bottled water and an unlimited supply of snacks. Volunteers will also receive a yellow vest to identify you on event day.
Volunteers will work in one or more of the following shifts:
- 8:00 - 11:00 am
- 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
- 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
The event is from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. The early shift will set up equipment, supplies and assist vendors. Mid shift will primarily assist vendors inside and outside of the venue. The last shift will clean up and breakdown equipment. A volunteer coordinator will assign duties on the day of the event.
Volunteer Consent:
If you are between 14 and16 years of age you must provide a Volunteer consent form signed by a parent, prior to the event. Please contact [email protected] to request the consent form.
Volunteer Breaks:
It is important to us that our volunteers have opportunities throughout the day to enjoy the event by visiting vendor booths, listening to speakers, watching performances, and taking part in interactive activities!
