We are not your typical networking group. We are a connection company! It is our mission to connect the world’s most positive, action-forward, amazing women to build lifelong friendships and business relationships. We invite you to learn, make connections, be inspired, and meet other growth-focused women. We welcome all women who are looking to be an active participant in a supportive community of women, so working in or on a business is optional. Polka Dot Powerhouse is an International organization known for a no-drama culture – it is women supporting each other as we all strive to be our best selves. Speaker: Ingrid Dick
Ingrid Dick is a dynamic and inspirational coach, health commentator, podcaster and author. She helps women with metabolic syndrome, specifically Type 2 diabetes, reverse their disease, and work towards living a life free of medications and debilitating symptoms.
Ingrid’s trainings and programs focus on an integrative and holistic approach to healing through nutrition and lifestyle, as well as how to reframe negative thoughts, set boundaries, and the important part self-care plays in personal transformation.
After overcoming and reversing her own life-threatening chronic illness, including a rare type of autoimmune disease (IBD), as well as Type 2 Diabetes, and Insulin Resistance, Ingrid has an intimate understanding of the challenges women face when trying to gain control of their health.
Ingrid completed her training with the internationally renowned Institute for Integrative Health & Nutrition (IIN), is certified by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC), and received her Ayurveda certification from Kerala Ayurveda Academy.
Outside of her passion for coaching, Ingrid loves to cook, is an avid jet setter, an obsessive reader of self-help books and crime fiction, and loves cooking and completing DIY home improvement projects. She, has two charming teenagers, two stepsons, two beloved rescue dogs, 3 cats, and 2 grand kitties. Ingrid is an Australian transplant living in beautiful Monterey County in California.
