EWRI San Antonio invites you to attend the 2024 Local Water Workshop on Thursday, May 23rd from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the City of San Antonio's NW Service Center (6939 W Loop 1604 North).
This is a half-day workshop with presentations by agency and industry staff focused on local stream stabilization and restoration topics. Attendees of the workshop will be awarded 3 continuing education credits (CECs) for licenser maintenance. (Disclaimer: The responsibility to monitor state licensure requirements falls on the licensee.)
Presentations include:
- San Antonio River Authority - Update on the Mission Reach ecosystem restoration and recreation project and its added water quality protections because of amendments to the CoSA UDC. This presentation will focus on requirements, procedures, and developer guidelines related to the amended UDC.
- City of Seguin - Overview of what’s in the works for Walnut Branch and the many players involved.
- Ecosystem Planning and Restoration (EPR) - Recent channel restoration work in the Bexar County area.
- Bexar County Stormwater - Presentation on their Stormwater group.
The workshop will begin promptly at 9:00 AM with networking and coffee. The workshop will end with a lunch and networking.
