About this Event
Join the Department of Energy and Environment and partners for the 4th Annual Kingman Island Friends and Family Day on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 12:00 – 4:00 PM. This family-friendly event is a celebration of everything the islands have to offer as a unique space in the District dedicated to conservation, environmental education, and recreation. From tree walks and flower crown workshops to paddling and live music, there’s something for attendees of all ages and abilities. Additional activities and partners will be added to this page as they are confirmed.

BYOSnacks & Reusable Water Bottle
Please note, there will not be food available for purchase. Please feel free to pack & snack to stay nourished during your island adventure. There will be a water refill station available for participants. We encourage you to bring your reusable water bottles to support our goals for a low waste event.
