About this Event
Focusing on the intersection of Ecology and Genomics content, this four-day workshop will address content found in Biology, AP Biology, and Environmental Science classes. How does DNA analysis help us understand ecosystem dynamics? How does modern genomic research interact with the agriculture practices that feed our world?
GTAC: Ecosystem Genetics will be held July 8-11, 2024 at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology.*
*HudsonAlpha seeks to provide a safe environment for all our participants and team members. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in our region to make a best-informed decision about holding in-person programming for Summer 2024. We will notify our participants if we are unable to host face-to-face activities.
Across all of our programs, HudsonAlpha will follow best practices for gathering safely. These practices may change based on recommendations from health officials, but currently include reducing overall capacity, social distancing, and masking in public spaces. Failure to comply with safety precautions will result in removal from the program.
