About this Event

Welcome to the 2024 Housing Summit - Building a Better Future: One Home at a Time! This event will be hosted jointly by the Harris County Aging and Disability Resource Center, the Harris County Area Agency on Aging and the City of Houston Health Department. The summit seeks to:

Raise awareness regarding the challenges that many older adults and people with disabilities face in finding safe, affordable, accessible and permanent housing.
Educate professionals about resources and supports that are available to assist older adults, people with disabilities, veterans, caregivers and their families.

The summit will bring together experts, community leaders, and individuals with lived experiences to discuss the challenges faced by older adults and individuals with disabilities. Let's come together to explore ways to create a brighter future for all through sustainable housing solutions. See you there!
