The University of Toronto’s Global Mental Health Program invites you to attend Global Mental Health Day 2024! In the face of challenging global issues, including conflicts and war, we will examine the role of mental health providers in promoting healing and resilience, utilizing a decolonizing, culturally responsive, and EDI-informed lens to examine trauma and its mental health impact on affected communities locally and globally.

and present at our symposia!
All global mental health related topics are welcome, including research projects, educational collaborations/initiatives, or practitioner reflections on practice within international healthcare systems. Submissions from international medical graduate (IMG) trainees are highly encouraged.
Abstract submissions should be limited to 300 words and include a title, background information, learning objectives, conclusions, and two key references. For research projects, methods and results should also be included. Deadline to submit: Friday October 11, 2024.
