2024 City Love Picnic

We are excited for our 14th Annual City Love Picnic!!

It's always a good time of community, food and rest. If you are going to be in town on Labor Day, consider joining us!

We will be gathered on Turtle Pond Lawn with a lovely view of Belvedere Castle. You can enter Central Park at West 81st Street, then follow signs to the Delacorte Theatre. Turtle Pond Lawn is just past the theatre.

Restrooms are near the Delacorte Theatre as well.

A spoken word poetry set by Berry will take place about 6pm.

Purchase a ticket to enjoy one of the following meals from Jacob's Restaurant (a black-owned, Harlem-based soul food restaurant):

• fried chicken
• fried whiting
• beef short ribs
• steamed vegetables

Each meal comes with cornbread, macaroni and cheese, as well as your choice of cabbage or sweet candied yams.
