FREE EVENT!The City Heights Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Resident Committee invites you to this year’s Dia de los Muertos event. The event will be celebrating its 28th Anniversary. Our event will take place on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, from 11:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Officer Jeremy Henwood Memorial Park located on 3795 Fairmount Ave, San Diego, 92105 (Behind City Heights Library)
The City Heights Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a grassroots event where people of all cultures come together to celebrate the lives of their friends and relatives who have passed away. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity for residents and agencies in the area to work together to better community cohesion—improving the health and well-being of residents in City Heights. An event that started as a school project now receives over 1000 San Diego residents, including over 30 family and non-profit altars.
FREE EVENT!!! Community altars, face painting, mask making, and raffle prizes, free entertainment!!
