RESCHEDULED: On Friday, March 29, the Atlanta Braves will celebrate Opening Day with an Opening Day Block Party in Summerhill, one of Atlanta’s most historic neighborhoods. In the leadup to the 50th anniversary of Hank Aaron’s record-breaking 715th home run at Atlanta Fulton County Stadium, the Braves invite fans to return to the scene of that historic moment to welcome the 2024 season. Fans will enjoy a block party along bustling Georgia Avenue as the Braves take over to celebrate Opening Day while the team is on the road taking on the Philadelphia Phillies. There will be live performances and interactive elements all along Georgia Avenue, including watch parties, food and drinks from local restaurants, live music, performances and appearances from Braves entertainment teams, free giveaways, and more!The Opening Day Block Party in Summerhill begins at 3 p.m. ahead of the 3:05 p.m. first pitch. Multiple free parking lots are available along Georgia Avenue.
