BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Brother Thomas S. Tripodianos is the Managing Partner at Welby, Brady & Greenblatt, LLP, where he plays a pivotal role in all facets of construction, labor, and employment law. His firm serves a diverse clientele, including buyers, sellers, lenders, developers, general contractors, construction managers, owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, sureties, and other key entities, offering indispensable legal services across the industry.
As a first-generation Greek American, Mr. Tripodianos developed a keen interest in real estate and construction law from his early experience managing properties for his family’s business in Queens. He is a respected mentor for emerging attorneys, providing valuable leadership and insights. Additionally, he is skilled in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Mr. Tripodianos is actively involved with several prestigious organizations:
- New York Building Congress: He contributes to numerous committees, including Construction Law, Education, Arts & Culture, Energy & Sustainability, Government Affairs, Planning, Growth & Sustainability, Public Building & Procurement, and Transportation & Infrastructure.
- Past President: Construction Financial Manager Association, New York City Chapter.
- Past President: Hudson Valley Builders and Remodelers Association; served as Education Committee Chair, Grievance Committee Chair, and Membership Committee Member.
- New York State Builders Association: Secretary, Executive Board Member, and Chairman of the Legal Defense Fund.
- Lorman Faculty Member. Frequent speaker at various national and local professional and trade organizations such as Lorman, the International Risk Management Institute and Building Realty Institute
- American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA): Delphi Chapter 25.

Above all, Thomas is a dedicated family man. He is the son of Greek immigrants, with his father hailing from Crete and his mother from Karpenissi. Thomas is married to Kleanthi also the daughter of Greek immigrants whose father is from Athens and mother is from Crete. She is a Greek school teacher, active member of the Philoptochos Society and Civic Engagement Chairperson of the Women’s Club of Danbury New Fairfield.
Together, they have two remarkable children: Angelica, a senior and Army ROTC cadet at Penn State University, who will commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army upon graduation furthering her studies in Physician Assistant School, and Steven, a junior and Army ROTC cadet at Virginia Tech, who is also set to become a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army upon graduation and will continue onto Law School to join the Judge Advocate General (JAG) branch of the U.S. Army.

The AHEPA Delphi Chapter # 25 is the first AHEPA Chapter organized in New York State, founded in 1923, having a glorious history with many esteemed past and current members including the late Franklin D. Roosevelt, President of the USA. Currently this AHEPA Chapter is one of the most vibrant Chapters of The Order of AHEPA ; following a dynamic revitalization our Manhattan-based Chapter has grown to be the largest Chapter in the entire global AHEPA domain!
