Join the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Lambda Omicron Omega Chapter for th the 2nd Annual "Your Voice Has Power!" Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Awareness event happening at Booker Middle School, Myrtle Street, Sarasota, FL, USA. Let's come together to raise awareness, show support, and empower survivors. Together, we can make a difference and create a safer community for everyone. Don't miss out on this important event!
This free WOMEN ONLY event will have guest speakers, raffles/giveaways, self-defense demonstrations, vendors, entertainment, and much more! In collaboration with Centerstone Health, SELAH, SPARCC (Safe Place And Rape Crisis Center), AWE! KRAV MAGA, and Queens of Domestic Violence.
<h4 />Waivers must be signed at the event for those ages 18 years and older wishing to participate in the self-defense portion of the program. Participants younger than 18 must have the waivers signed by their parents and/or legal guardian.
