2023 Virginia State University Alumni Winterfest Weekend | Feb. 3-5, 2023

The Virginia State University Alumni Winterfest is billed as the University's winter homecoming. If you enjoyed the homecoming experience in the fall surrounded by football, then you are in for a treat for basketball. There are a number of activities to be a part of during the Alumni Winterfest Weekend, held February 3-5, 2023.

Coming into town early? Here's a time for our VIP Trojans to connect with other alumni over hors d'oeuvres and drinks.

Did you enjoy the VSU Alumni Day Party at Homecoming? Well come out for the first-ever Trojan Kickback Weekend Afterparty, sponsored by the Foundation Fellows of the Virginia State University Foundation Board. Wear your flyest "kicks" with your dopest outfit, and come out for a night of food, fellowship, and fun. Things to expect at the Trojan Kickback Afterparty, featuring DJ Casper include:

• Food and drinks
• Casino games
• Vendors
• Cigar/hookah lounge
• Raffles and giveaways
• Paid coat check

Because this event will be held in the VSU Multipurpose Center, you must present a basketball game ticket (whether you plan to physically attend the game or not) for entry into the event. Basketball tickets, which range from $15.00 - $25.00 and provide entry for both the men's and women's games, can be purchased in person at the box office or at Ticketmaster. Your basketball game ticket purchase helps support Virginia State University Athletics.

Wear your best orange and blue outfit, and get ready for the best brunch Virginia has to offer with D. Cain's Catering.

Our host hotel is the Springhill Suites Chester, located at 12301 Redwater Creek Road, Chester, VA 23831. You will receive hotel information in your ticket confirmation email after making your purchase.

• 1882 Package with an exclusive Friday night VIP networking event and the Orange & Blue Sunday Brunch.

Orange & Blue Brunch ( $45.00)

• An à la carte option for those who don't want a package but still would like to attend Sunday brunch.
