The City of Charlotte is excited to host its 4th annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Conference in November 2023. This conference is being hosted/organized collaboratively by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, Charlotte Fire Department, CMPD, and MEDIC.

We believe that through collaborations with key community partners, we will successfully achieve our goals. As organizations that are committed to diversity and inclusion, we hold a common purpose of helping professionals succeed in their educational and professional endeavors. The Char-Meck Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion conference is a conference that is geared towards bringing professionals from all sectors, to provide training and networking resources that would help elevate their professional network. We aspire to provide professionals with skills and resources to attain professional success.

As part of this conference, we will explore ways to break down both organizational and personal barriers that relate to diversity and inclusion, so we can fully identify obstacles to organizational success.
