The Chamber of Commerce of Smyth County, Inc. is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a 2023 Candidates Forum on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at The Lincoln Theatre beginning at 6:00pm. The format of the forum will follow past formats with all participating candidates receiving a five minute time slot to introduce themselves to the community, explain why they are seeking office, and discuss issues that they feel are pertinent to their campaign. Due to time constraints, there will be no question and answer sessions and no questions from the floor will be allowed. Following the Forum, there will be a Meet and Greet session where candidates will be able to speak with the audience members one-on-one.
