Even on our best days, stress can prevent us from entirely focusing and doing our best work. This day-to-day stress can lead to fatigue, a lackadaisical attitude, more sick days, and strained relationships in the workplace. Mental health and stress-related issues were prominent in the recent UT Dallas Climate Survey responses. In response to this knowledge and the disruption caused by COVID Pandemic and other National economic issues (the last several years) affecting the workplace, ODEI aims to provide programs this year with a significant focus on employee well-being.
As reflected in our theme, UT Dallas ERGs: Driving Change Through Advocacy,” you have a voice in deciding the culture you have here at UT Dallas. The goal is to have each employee feel a sense of belonging here, and UT Dallas is a safe space to bring their authentic selves to work daily.
