The Community Connections Conference is an annual free event that connects residents of Minneapolis, community groups, neighborhoods and local government. This year's conference theme is "forward together."Featuring:
- Free food
- Dance and performances
- Kid's activities
- Multilingual community conversations about interesting topics: housing, youth, community safety, small business and local government.
- Workshops about environmental justice and other green topics as part if the Green Zones Summit
- A panel on aging and older adults
- Exhibit hall with over 100 organizations and public agencies
This conference is made possible thanks to the support of our community partner organizations WOVAN, One Family One Community, The Lao Center of Minnesota, Minneapolis American Indian Center and Trellis and supporting organizations Whittier Alliance and the Minneapolis Youth Coordinating Board.
