This year's Shoot for the Troops Sporting Clay Tournament will take place at the Nashville Gun Club on Saturday, August 28, 2021 with registration at 2:00 P.M. Ammunition will be supplied at the event. After the tournament, we'll have a dinner, a bar, live music, and a silent auction that you and your friends or families are encouraged to attend. We'll have top team awards, and the top shooter's name will be added to the Shoot for the Troops Memorial Trophy.
All proceeds from the event will go to support our eight JCS Nashville heroes and their families. You can learn more about each of their heartfelt stories at https://www.chamberlainsociety.org/jcs-heroes/heroes-nasvhille/
Break out your big guns, it's going to be an exciting event you won't want to miss!

--More about the Joshua Chamberlain Society--
The Joshua Chamberlain Society adopts wounded veterans and the families of deceased veterans and commits to providing support for the long term.
When American service members are severely wounded in combat, their lives are changed forever. And when our service members make the ultimate sacrifice, their families need support and security. With the help of generous donors and fundraising events, we help severely wounded veterans live full, vibrant lives despite their injuries, and we make sure the families of the fallen are provided with support and security for the future.
With the help of generous donors, JCS "adopts" severely wounded veterans - those who have suffered traumatic brain injuries, lost a limb or multiple limbs, or both - as well as the families of those service members who sacrificed their lives in service to our country. JCS provides real, tangible support for these individuals and families not only in the present, but also five, ten, twenty or more years down the line. Years from now, they will still feel the support of a community grateful for their sacrifices.
Their sacrifice is permanent - so is our support.

--About Steve Tidwell--
Steve Tidwell was a founding member of the Nashville chapter of The Joshua Chamberlain Society. He passed away in April of 2019. This event was always important to Steve and will be held in memory of him. Steve was a veteran of the Tennessee Air National Guard and understood the commitment and sacrifice of our Heroes. His unwavering support of the JCS mission lives on in the Steve Tidwell Shoot for the Troops event we do each year.
