Flash photography can be intimidating at first and is sometimes avoided because of the initial obstacles. We’ll show you basic camera and flash settings for indoor and outdoor portraits. Plus you’ll see demonstrations on wireless flash and how to use various light modifiers. We will discuss simple equipment such as small battery powered strobes and lightweight accessories. Key topics will include:
Review of exposure
Flash settings
Shooting techniques
Using light modifiers
Demonstrations and shooting time with models
Class Duration: One 3-hour course
Prerequisites: Digital Photo II or a basic understanding of your camera and exposure
Class Fees: $75 per student
