Your 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is the foundation of your teaching path, and choosing the right guide sets the tone for your entire journey. Shelly Kwiatkouski has built an outstanding reputation for cultivating knowledgeable, confident, and inspired teachers.
Over the course of 8 transformative weekends, Shelly will lead you through a dynamic blend of lectures, workshops, and hands-on practice. You’ll learn through observation, experience, personal study, and supportive feedback—all in a welcoming and empowering environment.
In this training, you will:
• Deepen your understanding of asana, including proper alignment, benefits, and contraindications
• Learn the principles of anatomy and body mechanics
• Explore both the science and the artistry of intelligent sequencing
• Study the movement of energy throughout the body
• Use props skillfully to support, refine, or modify postures
• Develop your authentic voice as a teacher and as an individual
• Build confidence through guided practice-teaching
• Gain a broader perspective of yoga history, lineage, and philosophy
• Learn and integrate Sanskrit names of common postures
Prerequisites
• 6–12 months of consistent yoga practice
• Must be at least 16 years old
