20 Years of Doll Magic is a Charity Event by Uthando Project. With the generous support of Textile Artist, Margaret Sutton, we are able to offer a collection of unique textile art pieces, showcasing the rich and bold colours of the Australian Landscape, through a range of dyeing and stitching techniques.
A curated selection of hand made Uthando Project dolls from 2004 – 2024 will also be on display.
Uthando Project is a small Perth based charity which since 2004 has sent more than 100,000 dolls hand made by volunteers, for distribution to vulnerable children in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. The Project relies entirely on donations and fundraising to cover the cost of shipping the dolls to South Africa.
