Hi everyone and welcome to the TickinEmOff Group Hike, this hike is going to take in 2 Wainwrights, CatstycamandBirkhouseMoor. We will be meeting at the Glenridding car park at 8am and setting of hiking at 8:30am. This car park is a pay and display car park so please bring money/cars to pay for the parking. We will be hiking up to Catstycam first which has some steep sections but nothing technical, from the summit of Catstycam you will have amazing views of Helvellyn and two of the lake district most famous ridges, Swirral Edge and Striding Edge, we will then head over to Birkhouse Moor to Tick Off the final Wainwright of the day before heading back down to Glenridding car park. This hike is 8 miles and has 3000ft of elevation gain, and will take around 5-7 hours of hiking. Therefore, when joining events you are entirely responsible for your own health & safety. (Including any friends or family members that you may invite) but of course we will all be looking out for each other on the day, Events on TickinEmOff have no financial charge, we don’t have insurance to cover you, there are no written agreements, and in this knowledge you join of your own free will,
