Join us for a vibrant, hands-on painting experience as you explore contemporary floral design in this two-day class.
Students will create a finished 16” x 20” canvas while learning how to work with tertiary colors to achieve a fresh, modern style. Throughout the workshop, you’ll learn how to incorporate tertiary colors for a contemporary look, create movement and depth within floral compositions, use oil painting additives and studio tools to elevate your work, and apply finishing techniques for a polished, gallery-ready piece. Bonnie will share practical tips and approachable techniques that make contemporary florals feel exciting and achievable — whether you’re newer to oils or looking to refine your style.
Acrylic painters are welcome, too!
Please bring a reference photo of your choice (preferably 8” x 10”). You’re welcome to bring your own paints and brushes if you have favorites you love to use, but it’s completely optional.
Oil painting supplies, cleaners, aprons, and studio tools will all be provided if you prefer to use ours.
Come ready for a fun, energetic, and creatively charged morning in the studio — and leave with a bold, beautiful floral painting ready to display.

SKILL LEVEL All levels welcome.
SUPPLIES Students must bring a reference photo of their choice (preferably 8” x 10”) and their own paints and brushes, if they wish. All additional supplies provided.
