2-Part Ceramic Altar Workshop

In this two-part workshop, you will be designing and building your own personal cramic altar. We will be embracing the imperfections and personal styles that are unique to each of us. This is a completely guided and beginner friendly class taught by local artist Nicole Goodie-Martinez.

Part 1 - May 16th 12-2pm
We’ll be learning the basics of handbuilding by using slab and coiling techniques.

Part 2 - June 6th 12-2pm
We’ll be learning glazing basics to paint our final pieces.

I find clay to be an incredibly healing yet humbling media, so we’ll be leaving perfectionism at the door!
