This 2-Day Intensive Film directing workshop is the perfect course for anyone wanting to get an introduction into film directing craft.
This workshop has been designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the basics of screenwriting,camera work and shooting techniques.It will equip students with basic technical knowledge in each area.
This workshop is an excellent opportunity to gain foundational knowledge and practical skills in film directing, preparing participants to embark on their filmmaking journeys.

Day 1

- The Shot: The shot elements
- Shot size. Camera Angles. Types and uses
- The shooting script. The shot list. Floor plans
Day 2
- Camera movement: Pan. Tilt.Dolly. Tracking and zoom
- Shooting techniques: THe Master shot/ Shot and reverse shot
- The 180º rule. The 30º degrees rule
- Cinematography
- Composition Rules: Rule ofThirds. Diagonals. Horizons. Symmetry
- Headroom and noise room
- Lens: Depth of field. Normal. Wide angle and telephoto uses
