This is a 3 DAY/2 NIGHT EVENT that requires overnight stays.We depart from Sarasota, FL & Shop our way to St. Augustine, FL where we stay.THIS IS A 3 DAY THRIFTING EVENT!
Meet us in Sarasota on Friday, 2/28/2025 boarding a luxury bus to journey across Florida stopping in short intervals to thrift shop some of the best stores on our way to St. Augustine, Florida where we will stay overnight Friday and Saturday nights.
Enjoy the thrill of discovering hidden treasures and unique finds at each stop! Our itinerary is carefully curated to offer a delightful blend of shopping, sightseeing, and relaxation. After a day filled with exciting thrifting adventures, unwind at our evening dinner gatherings where you can mingle with fellow thrift enthusiasts, share your finds, and enjoy delicious dining experiences.
Imagine waking up in St. Augustine, FL with breakfast ready and just blocks from the beach. Then we arrive with our luxury bus to take you thrift and resale shopping each day! Our Hotel has complimentory rolling carts and beach chairs to stroll to the beach! Then we arrive with our luxury bus to take you thrift and resale shopping each day!
Our route includes a little change of pace with a shopping stop at America's Largest Yard Art Shop with paved walkways spaning 3 acres with a variety of 800,000 items at any given time. Look over yard furniture, handpainted and talavera pottery, animal statues, fountains, mailboxes, aluminum art and more!
As we pass thru Plant City on our return we can't skip by strawberry land in it's peak season with out a quick stop for a farm stand fresh cool strawberry milkshake or a huge strawberry shortcake, made from the farm only available Jan-April each year.
IN SHORT: We depart from Saraosta on February 28, 2025 with two boarding locations, and travel on luxury coach bus resale shopping all the way to St. Augustine. We stay overnight Friday and Saturday night in St. Augustine. We return to Sarasota on Sunday, March 3, 2025, by 7pm. EVENT ITINERARY:
Friday, February 28, 2025
Join us boarding in Sarasota, Florida! Our event kicks off to travel across Florida, making frequent shopping stops all the way to St. Augustine, Florida. Enjoy a catered lunch during our drive between fabulous thrifting & consignment stops, including a beautiful Vineyard Winery stop for a special short wine tasting, Oh you may pick up a bottle or two for our weekend!
We arrive in St. Augustine in time to stop and pick up dinner at the famous Buc-ee’s. An awesome road trip adventure stop with award-winning clean restrooms and freshly prepared food in a 52,000 sq ft building!
Then it’s off to the Hotel to check in and get settled in and join the group for our meet & greet pool side get together!

Wake up to a delicious breakfast and feel free to take a stroll to the beach. Be ready by 8:45 AM at the front of the hotel to board our bus for a day of thrift and resale shopping!
Enjoy a hot breakfast at your hotel (included in your reservation). Please note that hotel charges are not included in your Event & Transportation Ticket – see hotel information below.
At 8:45 AM, we will whisk you away for our thrifting adventure in St. Augustine. Our lineup will include a thrift store stop, followed by an amazing women’s clothing consignment store. Next, we will stop in Uptown St. Augustine for lunch (on your own) where you can explore vintage, antique, and unique gift shops within walking distance of lunch cafes, food markets, and pizzerias.
Then, it’s off to another thrift store!
We will wrap up the day with a Pirate-themed boat ride on the Black Raven Tropical Sunset Cruise that offers live entertainment & cocktails sailing through the picturesque Bridge of Lions, and passing by historic downtown and the Castillo de San Marcos. Enjoy the opportunity to spot dolphins and other wildlife before heading off to dinner in Historic Downtown St. Augustine. Returning to the hotel by 9pm to rest up for another exciting day of treasure hunting!

Enjoy a restful breakfast at the hotel and check out.
At 8:30 AM, we will pick you up, pack all your goodies on the bus, and head out for more thrifting making our way back to Sarasota on a different route. Expect a special shopping stop at the massive Barberville Yard Art Emporium!
Lunch (on your own) will be at Main Street Deland, filled with specialty shops, boutiques, galleries, antique stores, coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants.
We’ll then hop back on the road to a beautiful ladies' clothing consignment store specializing in Lilly Pulitzer brights and beautiful jewelry, shoes and handbags!
As we cruse back to Sarasota we'll make a rest stop in the land of strawberries- Plant City. Grab a fresh farmstand made strawberry milkshake or strawberry piled high shortcake!
We plan to return to Sarasota between 6-7 PM, dropping you off at the same location where you boarded.
COSTS & PARTICIPATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. PURCHASE EVENT & BUS TRANSPORTATION TICKET: For 3 days Total: $345.00* plus tax and fees = $395.85 for the weekend. (Does not include hotel)
You will need to purchase an EVENT & BUS TRANSPORTATION TICKET using this eventbrite site. The EVENT & BUS TRANSPORTATION Ticket includes ALL transportation, breakfast snacks on Friday, lunch on Friday, afternoon treats on Friday, and water for 3 days. Plus, our exclusive THRIFTING RETREAT survival kit, goodie bag, game cards, raffle tickets and other goodies, games and prizes.
2. AFTER purchasing your Event & Transportation ticket, you will receive an email to MAKE your HOTEL RESERVATION for the nights of 2/28 & 3/1 in St. Augustine at a rate of $169.00 per night, totaling $382.82 (including tax & fees) for the weekend. Consider sharing a room to split costs (Room options: 2 Queens or 1 King). ROOM rate includes Breakfast each morning!
We have blocked off hotel rooms for everyone to stay at one location. You will receive a hotel link in the email with your Event & Bus Transportation ticket. DO NOT CALL THE HOTEL; you must use the link to reserve your room online immediately with a small deposit, with the balance due at check-in. You can share a room; only one person needs to make the room reservation. A hot breakfast each morning is included in your hotel stay. Remaining meals will be on your own at designated stops. Remember, the hotel stay is not included in the Event & Bus Transportation ticket, and you will be responsible for the hotel room costs for both nights, Friday 2/28 and Saturday 3/1/2025. Cost: $169 per night, for a total of $382.82 (including tax and fees) for the ENTIRE weekend. You can split the cost if sharing the room.

IF YOU ARE FLYING/DRIVING TO SARASOTA THE DAY BEFORE and planning to stay over, it is our high season, search for a hotel near either of our boarding locations as soon as possible. If you drIve in, some Hotels will allow you to leave you car at the Hotel for the weekend . Ask the Hotel? Then take an Uber to one of the boarding locations.
IF YOU ARE COMING TO SARASOTA ON THE MORNING OF OUR TRIP, NOTE THAT TRAFFIC CAN BE HEAVY due to the busy season with school buses and commuters. PLAN TO ARRIVE EARLY, as there are NO REFUNDS for missing the bus.
At the Holiday Inn, each relaxing room has a balcony and is located a short walk to St. Augustine Beach with complimentary beach chairs and carts. Your hotel reservation also includes complimentary coffee, juice and breakfast each morning.

7:30am Friday 2/28 SRQ SARASOTA AIRPORT Ground Transportation Area, West of the Baggage Claim Area. (This is for anyone wishing to fly into or drive to Sarasota. Park your car in the long term parking for 3 days at $11 day) ADDRESS: 6000 Airport Circle, Sarasota, FL 34241
Park your car in the long-term lot and take the free shuttle to the airport terminal, where you can meet our coach bus at the Ground Transportation area, located at the west end of the baggage claim area. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure timely boarding.
RETURN: We will return you to this location on Sunday, March 2, with a drop-off at approximately 6:30 PM. (Return time may vary due to traffic conditions.)
BOARDING #2:
8:00am Friday 2/29 LOWE'S Home Improvement Store ADDRESS: 5750 Fruitville Rd., Sarasota, FL 34232 Please arrive 15 minutes early, so you are not late.
We recommend having someone drop you off; however, some may choose to park here for the 3-day duration of the event. Please conceal all valuables in your car, as Lowe's or Thrifting Bus Tours cannot guarantee the safety of your vehicle and belongings. Parking is at your own risk. MEET THE BUS/PARK AS FAR OUT AS POSSIBLE FROM THE GARDEN CENTER.
