The War in Ukraine and Understanding the Past
In line with Organization's focus on critical understandings of the past, in this part of the Keynote David will review of the course of the war in Ukraine. He will then continue with an analysis of the role of historical politics, arguing that both Russia and Ukraine have based their futures on deeply flawed interpretations of the period of the Second World War.
Part 2

Resilience in Academia: The Daily Struggles of Researchers at Palestine Technical University
In this part of the Keynote, Rana will talk about every-day university life under Israeli occupation in the West Bank. After briefly reconstructing the history of the university, she will share with us how faculty, staff and students cope and keep hope despite all. She will conclude by telling the Organization community how we can enact solidarity with our Palestinian colleagues.
