About this Event
A grassroots campaign called Season for Nonviolence was initiated by a forward thinking organization called Associated Global New Thought (AGNT). Drawing from Gandhi and King’s advocacy towards the conscious stand for nonviolence and the prevalence of peace on earth and runs from January 30th to April 4th.
JOIN Interfaith and intergenerational Communities in walking for Peace and having fun giving away or laying down Peace Rocks along the route, as symbols of peace to be seeded and grown. The opening and closing ceremonies take place in Bramhall Park, the walking route is up to and across Lincoln Ave. to Minnesota and back. This is an all-inclusive event focused on being for something and against nothing.
