Dwight Munro was a Canadian army veterans who passed away in feb2026. Having Battled severe PTSD and other mental and physical problems, We wanted to created this event in his honor.
Men's mental health is far to often overlooked and this annual event is designed to raise awareness and funds.
In collaboration with Be Kind Radio, Ability dogs Canada and My Head Hertz music studio and music school.
100% of the funds are donated to the Ability Dogs Canada's Munro fund. A fund that helps veteran and family members pay for much needed service dogs.
The event:
Aspie Drummer (aka Johnny Racine) Will be playing drums for 24 hours. Joined by musicians in a sort of open jam.
We will have a link with signup sheets for non drummer musicians who want to join in on this 24 hour open jam and walk ins will also be welcome with sing up sheets onsite.
This is going to be a fun filled and family oriented event at a great location in smiths falls by the rideau river, there are kids splash pads, picnic tables, docks on the water etc.
We are still in the stages of organizing a possible food truck and ice cream truck to join in. possibly other fun events from face painting etc.
