Brookings FREE Share & Care Day is an annual, city-wide event held the 4th Saturday in April, right around Earth Day. On Share & Care Day, residents across Brookings host SHARE SPOTS (like a free mini rummage sale) from their garages, driveways, or shared community spaces — no pricing, no money... just sharing!The goals are to reduce waste, keep usable items out of the landfill, and strengthen community connections by passing along items from one household to another. ALL ITEMS ARE FREE.
