About this Event
A Family Fun Day for families with a member who has 1p36 Deletion Syndrome.
Since 2008, families have been getting together annually in the UK to share experiences and build deeper relationships that first began in our online group. It has always been a place where we feel fully accepted, where we don’t feel like outsiders and where we find support, comfort, and encouragement.
In August 2026, we will be hosting another Family Fun Day. This event is for families, caregivers, support staff, and of course all of our amazing children and adults with 1p36 Deletion Syndrome. It’s a chance to connect and share time together in a relaxed and informal setting.
Saturday
We will be meeting at a SEN school in Slough.
The day will run from 12:00pm to 7:00pm.

On Sunday morning we will meet at Thames Valley Adventure Playground from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

On this occasion, families will need to arrange their own accommodation. There are several local hotels, B&Bs, and Airbnbs available in the area.
