Good Night, and Good Luck follows 1950s CBS journalist Edward R. Murrow (David Strathairn) as he uses his television program, See It Now, to expose the fear-mongering and unsubstantiated communist accusations of Senator Joseph McCarthy. Alongside producer Fred Friendly (George Clooney), Murrow risks his career to uphold journalistic integrity against corporate pressure.
