19th Annual Pain Society of Alberta Conference

As advocates of professional development for all health care providers in Alberta and beyond, we invite you to attend our in-person event at BMO Centre in Calgary.

1. What does my registration include?

• Access to all presentations throughout the two confernece days.
• All meals during conference hours as outlined on our agenda.

EARLY BIRD RATES until July 31, 2025

Regular rates until October 10, 2025

Registration does not include preconference workshops. These tickets must be purchased individually.

Tickets must be purchased online and will not be available onsite.

2. Who should attend and where can I access information and updates about the event?

We welcome all physicians, researchers and allied healthcare professionals to this event.

Information related to the conference will be located on the Pain Society of Alberta website and will be updated on a regular basis. Please consider adding your name to mailing list to stay informed. We keep emails to a minimum and you can unsubscribe at any time.

3. What if I need accommodation?

This year we do not have a contracted hotel with a reserved conference block and welcome you to do your own research to find the best option near our event space.

4. I have a dietary restrictions. Who do I tell?

You will be asked this question as part of the registration form and all responses will be relayed to the venue. Please identify yourself and share your information with the venue staff as a secondary safety net.

5. Will there be a virtual component? Will it be recorded?

This event will not be recorded and will be in-person event only. If this changes, updates will be circulated via email and posted on our website.

6. When will I get my certificate of attendance?

Certificates of attendance will be emailed to you within 10 business days after the event concludes.

7. There has been a change of plans…..is there a refund period?

Yes! Please email [email protected] if your plans have changed. The registration, minus the Eventbrite fees will be reimbursed up to 11:59pm MT on September 12, 2025. No refunds will be offered after this date. Please allow 7-10 business days to your refund to the original form of payment.

8. Is my ticket transferable?

It is! Please email the Event Manager to coordinate and change the ticket information.

9. Photography During the Event

Although this will be a private event, we will be capturing photos at varying times throughout the event. Please advise us at the registration desk if you do not wish to be in any of the photos.

10. Sponsored Presentations/Meals

During our event, we may have sponsored presentations/meals. If you choose not to partake, you may dine elsewhere at your own cost.
