Join Aid For Friends in this one-of-a-kind event where community members sleep outside at Caldwell Park on one of the coldest nights of the year to raise awareness and funds for our homeless shelter. Participate as an individual, family, or group and collect pledges OR simply sponsor another participant! Everyone is welcome to come take a look at the encampment and learn more about our cause, donate canned food [Saturday from 10-4], sing and dance along to live music Saturday night, or gather around the burn barrel to warm your hands and heart.
Participants will receive winter weather safety training the day of the event, a soup kitchen style dinner that evening, and a hot breakfast the next morning before taking down the camp.
