Join us, The Meyer Dancers, for a special 1960s Go-Go Dancing workshop - CHRISTMAS EDITION!
All our workshops are open level so you don’t need any experience, just enthusiasm.
What to expect from the workshop?
Get ready to move to the sounds of the 60s with a great warm up to 1960's classic Christmas hits, rarities and psychedelic bangers!
Learn the original 1960's moves from dances that defined the era like the Twist, the Jerk, the Hully Gully, and the Swim!
We’ll even teach part of a Christmas theme GoGo routine so you can get confident for any dancefloor!

Please arrive no earlier than ten minutes before the class begins.

* 18+ years is our minimum age guidance but there's no adult content or trigger warnings, its just quite a work out, and includes detailed movement"
Latecomer Policy: Latecomers are welcomed to join in, up to 15 minutes after the start of class. If you arrive any later you can watch but it’s not safe to join in.
Refund Policy - Please note there are no refunds for this event. If you have purchased a ticket and can no longer attend, we recommend selling your ticket onto another person who will enjoy the workshop.
What to wear?
Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in, dress up as much or as little as you like. For this session we recommend you wear comfortable shoes or trainers, please avoid high heels, boots or sandals.
What to bring?
Please bring a water bottle and if you like a towel, as Go-Go can get quite hot!
Where can I leave my stuff?
There won’t be any lockers but you can leave bags and coats in the space.
Where can I get changed / access?
There is 1 toilet by the stage. We suggest you arrive ready but if you need to get changed please arrive early.
