About this Event
Join us for a free film screening of the documentary film, 1946. It chronicles the discovery of never-before-seen archives at Yale University which unveil astonishing new revelations, and casts significant doubt on any biblical basis for LGBTQIA+ prejudice. Featuring commentary from prominent scholars as well as opposing pastors, including the personal stories of the film’s creators, 1946 is at once challenging, enlightening, and inspiring.
After the film, we will have a panel discussion featuring Allen Dewberry (2.42 Church, San Marcos), Rev. Megan Elliot (Spirit of Joy, Seguin), and Rev. Keats Miles Wallace (Technicolor Ministries).
This event is organized by Springs of Life Church, an LGBTQ affirming congregation in San Marcos, Texas. For more information about us, please visit springsoflife.church.
