C ome join us for an evening of Indian Classical Dance and Music
Sweta Goswami is trained in various Indian classical dance forms including Odissi, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak and Manipuri from renowned dance gurus in both the US and India.
Sweta has choreographed and performed for prestigious events in the US and in India, including at the Indian and Philippine Consulates in New York, NY City Hall, Queens Public Library, Rubin Museum of Art and American Museum of Natural History, to name a few. Born and raised in New York she holds an MBA degree from Baruch College.
Shraman Sen is a post graduate student at Columbia University, New York. He has a Masters in Mathematical Economics.
Shraman began his training in the Imdadkhani Gharana under the tutelage of maestro Hidayat Khan. He is currently under the regular talim of Ustad Irshad Khan and occasionally takes training from Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan as well once the opportunity is presented during Ustadji's visits to the US. Shraman has performed in the US and in India. He has been blessed to perform in venues such as Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan ( New York), Tripura Governor House (India), Kolkata Rotary Club ( India), and the Indian Consulate ( New York), among others.
Sanjeevani Sutrave is a Graduate of Kuchipudi dance from the renowned Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University and has studied this dance form for over 16 years.
She has has performed extensively in India at events such as Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Thyagaraja Gana Sabha, and Koti Deepotsavam under the guidance of Guru, Dr. Sri Chinta Adinarayana Sarma Garu.
Born and raised in Hyderabad she holds a Master's in electrical engineering from the University of New Haven in Connecticut and currently resides in New York.
