The Mountain Home Visual Arts Guild is hosting its 18th Annual Art at the Inn, November 16th.
~ FREE TO ATTEND~
The “Art at the Inn” Art Show is an event displaying talented local artists' work from a variety of mediums. There will be many new faces and artwork that has not been exhibited before! Come enjoy fine art, food provided by Savory Layne Steakhouse (&
BBQ) local wine sold by Cold Springs Winery. Live music will be provided by Lyle “Pops” Evans. This event is Free to attend from 12-7 p.m. and open to all ages. On display this year for the guild’s Out of the Box Scholarship Fundraiser are original
traditional and non-traditional book-ends of all kinds! A handful of local artists have donated their talents to create each book-end(s) and will be displayed for a silent auction. All proceeds raised during this auction will go towards providing scholarships for local high school students pursuing the art field. Over $21,000 in scholarships have been provided by this silent auction since 2006!
Watch the Mountain Home Visual Arts Facebook page @VisualArtsMH, as the Silent Auction Bidding begins online early October, runs through Sunday, Nov. 10th, then it will transition to live (in-person only bidding) at the event Saturday, November 16th.
The Visual Arts Guild works to provide networking and display opportunities, and venues to local artists. They believe in assisting all artists, whether they are an emerging artist, supporter of the arts or a professional artist.
