An evening crafted around Turrakana / the Tasman Peninsula and its exceptional producers, Meet the Maker returns to 1830 Restaurant on Friday 6 February. We welcome Premaydena Hill and its founders, Dan and Ella Kelleher, producers known for their regenerative farming practices, heritage Black Angus herd, and cool-climate, small-batch wines. Guests will enjoy canapés, four courses, and paired wines, each inspired by the land just minutes from our kitchen.
Throughout the night, Dan and Ella will share stories of building their vineyard, raising their cattle on coastal pastures, and developing a wine portfolio that reflects their unique terroir. This is hyperlocal dining at its most authentic, rooted in place, created with purpose, and guided by the hands of the makers themselves.
