17th Century Dutch Floral Painting

Join us in learning to paint spring floral studies in the manner of the Dutch masters of the 17th Century. Participants will focus on painting individual flowers in order to understand and paint their beautiful and complex forms. The studies will be painted on a lightly-toned panel with a plain background so as to allow a complete focus on the flower itself, paying attention to accurate drawing, form, color, and detail. Materials List available upon registration. All lectures and demonstrations are recorded and emailed to participants at the end of each day. For international students, the workshop day begins at 9:30 Eastern Standard Time (New York).
