17th California Cognitive Science Conference – CCSC Berkeley 2026

The California Cognitive Science Conference at UC Berkeley is an annual all-day symposium bringing together hundreds of students, researchers, and members of the general public from around the world who are passionate about the interdisciplinary field of Cognitive Science for a day of renowned speakers, innovative research presentations, and exciting events. We feature talks given by prominent scientists and thinkers from a wide variety of disciplines, and our acclaimed poster session provides undergraduates with the opportunity to present their original research alongside graduate students and professional researchers.

The theme for this year's annual conference is The Cognitive Horizons: Exploring The Mind Beyond Measure. This year our conference invites you to push the boundaries of your mind, exploring alongside the researchers, industry professionals, and community leaders we’ve invited as our speakers. From exploring the outer limits of memory, unlocking creativity, ever-evolving language, and the richness of culture, the full scope of capabilities of our brains has yet to be uncovered. The conference provides attendees with a glimpse into the latest research in all the fields that comprise Cognitive Science, including but not limited to Psychology, Neuroscience, Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, Philosophy, and Sociology.
