Join us for the return of a legendary community event, the Montalto Challenge!Reimagined to mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, the course ascends 500 feet and covers 1.776 miles to the summit of Montalto. Participants and spectators alike will be rewarded with breathtaking views of Monticello, Charlottesville, and the Blue Ridge Mountains at one of the most beautiful finish lines of any race in the country.
At the conclusion of the race, awards will be presented by age group. Photo opportunities as well as light refreshments will be available.
