Hello everyone,Due to interest and positive feedbacks I’m repeating last years 17. mai dinner and west coast swing social dance. This year it will be held at Sofienberg menighetshus. I will prepare a dinner for everyone, so no need to think about this.
This event is a private initiative by me (and maybe Jørgen if he does not have to work😅). So to make this happen, if you want to join I need you to sign up in the form below, that is your «ticket». There are limited spots for this event due to space, so make sure to grab your spot.
🇳🇴 Schedule: The doors open at 17:00, dinner is served at around 17:30, and we will start dancing around 19(depends on how long the dinner lasts and how eager people are to dance), and finish at 22.
🇳🇴 Drinks: Due to the circumstances of this event I have to apply for a «Sjenkebevilling» (Alcohol permit). I will get back to you what the results will be, but no matter what happens with this, it is «bring your own beverage»-kind of dinner. Whether it is allowed with alcohol or not remains to be seen. I’ll keep you posted.
🇳🇴 Dresscode: Since it’s 17. of may it’s always nice to wear something a bit nicer, but no pressure. Dress in whatever you prefer <3 Only requirement is do not wear bunadssko or other shoes with black/dark rubber soles inside, as this leaves ugly marks on the floor. (Black dance shoes with suede soles is of course ok)
🇳🇴 If you would like to help out, let me know in the form, and with what! (Help making food, bake, rigging, decorating etc).
🇳🇴 Price and payment:
Dinner & social: 400kr
Just social: 150 kr
Payment is done by vipps to me (Pia Tangen Straumsnes) at 91725973.
Please pay as you sign up, as it is easy to forget if not done at once. Let me know if you have any struggles or difficulties with this.
🇳🇴 To be transparent: the payment will cover venue, food and other necessities for hosting this. I do not aim to earn anything on this, the point is that we are all just splitting the expenses.
