This free family friendly annual event brings the excitement of a soap box derby® race to Macon each year. Thousands come from around the region to participate or watch the races, boogey to the music of world renowned DJ's, peruse the offerings of food/beer/sweets vendors, dance to the beats of the StreetLine drum corp, and much more. So pack up the family, grab a blanket or camp chair, and head on down to Washington Park on the #Second Saturday in April. The event goes off rain or shine! Come cheer on your favorite team as custom built cars race down the steep hill for prizes, glory, and bragging rights.
